ABOUT THE GEEN

ABOUT THE “GEEN”

See our “Sites & Rates” page for water recreation prices

The average river depth on the Saugeen is about 8 feet and there are a number of gentle flowing rapids. The river is very scenic with lots of tree covered riverbanks and steep slopes. Wildlife observation is a great activity while floating along and when things get a little hot, just slide off your tube for a quick refreshing dip. Try packing a cooler and enjoy a picnic lunch right on the river with someone special. Don’t forget your sunscreen and water shoes.
